Clay County Schools has an amazing nursing and health services staff supervised by Lead Nurse Summer Melton, RN, who serves as nurse at Central Junior High School and Central High School and actively trains staff and her other site nurses, Melanie Upchurch, RN, who is based at Lineville Elementary School and Katrina Kennedy, LPN, who is based at Ashland Elementary School. These ladies provide care and support for our students that is unparalleled, and they truly embody the Volunteer Spirit.
