The School Fiscal Accountability Act
The School Fiscal Accountability Act (Act No. 2006-196) requires each school system to provide certain financial, student achievement, school safety and school discipline reports to parent organizations, the media, our legislators and to the general public.
It is the goal of the Superintendent of Schools and the Clay County Board of Education to abide by this law and to inform the public as effectively and efficiently as possible. In an effort to fulfill this goal we have provided the Fiscal Accountability reports here. We have also provided them in the lobby of our central office (62 Court Square, Ashland Alabama). Please feel free to come by and view them during our normal business hours.
